Pastor Paul and Wanna

Senior Pastor

After graduating from the University of Toronto, Pastor Paul spent 14 years in the Telecommunication & High-Tech industry. His career was marked by his quick ascension to significant leadership positions at a very young age.

He was first appointed to a management position at the age of 24 in a computer distribution company. To ease the strong prompting of the calling of God on his life, Pastor Paul thought he could “hang-on” to his successful career, while ministering “part-time” as an associate minister in a local pentecostal church.

Soon, the prompting from the Lord became too strong that Pastor Paul finally obeyed the Lord and went into full time ministry (2004,) serving as the Senior Pastor of the church (Willowdale Community Christian Assembly) that he had founded a few years earlier (2000).

Today, Willowdale Community Christian Assembly is ministering to the very diverse communities of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Pastor Paul currently resides in Toronto with his wife, Wanna, and his two children (Kristen & Matthew).

 

Pastor Yung and Annie Lee

Managing Pastor and PULSE Youth and Young Adults

Pastor Yung and Annie have been working together with youth and young adults since the beginning of Willowdale. They have a passion for seeing this generation of young people grow into their purpose that God had planned for them from the very beginning.

They love young people and being around young people. Whether it's Annie working the BBM or Facebook chats late at night with someone from PULSE or PY having coffee with one of the young people (at Starbucks of course), their hearts are with the young people 24/7.

Pastor Yung and Annie met during their high school years where PY honed and crafted his guitar/singing abilities by serenading Annie and her friends under the trees in the school yard. They were married in 2006 and currently live in Toronto.

 

Margaret Quinn

Willowdale Kids Interim Director

Margaret has worked with children for over thirty years in the Primary, Junior and Intermediate divisions. She currently works with students with Learning Disabilities. She is happy to be able to offer her organizational skills to assist the amazing Sunday School teachers of WCCA.

 

Barrie Down and Holly Down

Teaching Pastors, Pastoral Care Network, Prayer and Intercession

Barrie was born into a Pentecostal pastor’s home and became grounded in the Word of God for the first 18 years of his life before drifting away from the Lord. During the next 20 years he emigrated to Canada, and met and married Holly who was also drifting. Jesus found them in the backwoods of a BC rain forest, restored them to fellowship with their heavenly Father, and gave them such a passion for the Word that they moved back to Ontario to attend Eastern Pentecostal Bible College. This led them to ministry at Evangel Temple in Toronto for about 10 years.

Knowing that the Lord had something more and different for them, Barrie returned to his work as an engineer, Holly returned to University to complete her Master’s Degree, and was then led to walk and pray and seek the Lord for His perfect plan. During this 20 year period they grew in the Spirit and the Word as the Lord gave assurances of His leading for the next step.

In May of 2011 they walked through the doors at Willowdale and knew immediately that they were “home” - they recognized the flow of the Spirit of God, the declaration of the Word of God, and the calling of God for their lives. As they are now retired, they have time to spend in prayer and study of the Word, and are blessed to be able to contribute to the life and ministries of Willowdale, and to encourage the body to fulfill its destiny in the calling of God.

Barrie and Holly live in Toronto. They have two children and four grandchildren who are the delight and joy of their lives.
